Red Fish Blue Fish has had a business relationship with the same supplier for over a decade and both the supplier and our company care a great deal about quality and the health of your fish. My supplier only sends me cherry picked items and has been doing this for years. I won't tell who my supplier is. Simply put, they are the best in the business for quality and service. We believe in making sure your specimen has proper time to settle in before we sell to you. This may take a few days or even a month depending on the species and when we feel they are ready. Red Fish Blue Fish does this procedure to ensure the specimen has time to acclimate and restore the specimens strength as shipping causes great stress. Most places will never do this as it's expensive. When you place an order I will contact you to confirm and verify information. You will not be charged until after I call and confirm the order. This website is dedicated to the rare and unusual specimens, however Red Fish Blue Fish is able to obtain "bread and butter" specimens. In some cases I will also have videos of some of the rare and exotic specimens I would have in stock for your convenience. Video of your fish can be sent to you as requested.

There is a $500.00 minimum order for all specimens that need to be shipped by airlines.  All fish must be paid in full before shipping and shipping will be C.O.D through the airlines. Yes I am able to ship into the United States. On special orders, 1/2 down is required to order that specimen and any returns are "in store credit only". The remaining balance must be paid before shipping. Tax charges vary.

If you live in Peterborough, Ontario delivery is free. If you live outside of Peterborough or surrounding areas please contact me for delivery options. There is a fee for delivery outside of Peterborough, Ontario. For customers in Peterborough and surrounding areas there may be a minimum order charge. Call for more info.

At Red Fish Blue Fish, we take every possible measure to ensure the specimen you purchase goes into the proper environment, however we can only guarantee live delivery based on your honesty. Red Fish Blue Fish will ask questions to ensure proper living conditions and compatibility. If your specimen arrives DOA, please contact Red Fish Blue Fish immediately for instructions. Again, only in store credit is given. Red Fish Blue Fish also reserves the right to decline specimens to customers that may not have the proper environment. This could be due to improper filtration or compatibility issues.
